🌟 A wonderful example of our trail community coming together! 🌟
Just before Christmas 
, frequent trail user Nicholas Penza noticed that a fallen tree along the trail was home to a large bee hive 
. He quickly took the initiative to connect with fellow trail user and local beekeeper Eli St. Amour of Eli’s Honey Bees, who generously volunteered his time to safely remove and save the bees—at no cost 
.
Eli, Nick, and Don Dimutis from Delaware County Parks & Recreation worked together 
to successfully relocate an estimated 20,000 bees, which will be re-hived in a safe location 
.
